		<description>I hope your PHR is based on some type of interoperability schema? (i.e. CCR, CCD, etc.) Granted, a healthcare provider being able to view a patient’s current medication list, allergy list, past medical history (etc.) is a big step in the right direction. But the real value of a PHR is the ability to import the data into a EMR/EHR system where the power of computing is realized. For example, being able to check adverse drug events or positive lab results or health maintenance alerts, etc. In order for the PHR to succeed, interoperability has to be at the core of its architecture, otherwise it will never gain traction.</description>
